This Notebooking Central booklet offers templates targeting literature (both fiction and nonfiction or informational text) for emergent readers and writers. Large tabs and a number of full-page templates are sized for both small hands and composition book pages. Student sketches and dictation are viable written responses for any of the templates you select to best fit your curriculum and student needs. Standards connections and student objectives are included for each template.
This series of Notebooking Central booklets is a response to teacher requests for Notebook Foldables that:
- provide graphics to aid comprehension and memory
- provide front tabs to elicit student responses underneath tabs, on the back of tabs, and on the surrounding notebook page
- provide ideas for the use of Notebook Foldables within different content areas
